Tangletown Spreadsheet

Data on dozens of buildings and properties in the Tangletown neighborhood.

The software underlying Minneapolis Historical is designed to contain "tours" -- that is, narrative descriptions and photographs of individual buildings grouped geographically in particular parts of the city. Despite the fact that the spreadsheet presented here includes neither narrative nor photos, it does indeed contain information on dozens of buildings in the Tangletown Neighborhood.

The original Washburn Park neighborhood lies between Minnehaha Creek on the south, W. 50th St. on the north, Nicollet Avenue on the east, and Lyndale Avenue on the west, However, Kathleen Kullberg, creator of this spreadsheet, has included buildings as far north as W. 46th St. between Nicollet and Lyndale Avenues.

Note: The spreadsheet is based on information contained in Minneapolis building permits issued through 1973. Newer buildings may have replaced some buildings shown in the spreadsheet.
